TUTORIAL 3

For the third tutorial, I had learn how to use of advanced filter effects, techniques of applying the text tools with effects and compositing the image inside the text. I choose the second video for this tutorial.

So this is the flow how I make it..

-open Vancouver.tif file as the main image-

-open File Browser by clicking Alt+Ctrl+O and open Twenty.tif file-
-drag the Twenty.tif file into the main image-

-create new layer and resize the Twenty.tif to make it smaller by clicking Ctrl T-
-rotate the position to make it center at the S letter-
-open Drop Shadow and the Layer Style box will be pop up-
-change the distance to 19px and click OK-

-after finish that, make a duplication by clicking Alt and drag-
-make 5 copies of Twentiy.tif image and resize it using Free Transform-
-arrange the copy image accordingly-
-locate the image as below, so that the word SAVING had been covered as well-

-go to Channel palette and turn off the visibility of Alpha 1-
-the image will appear like this- -press Alt and click Alpha 1 to select the word SAVING-

-go to the Layers palette and create new layer-
-click Alt + Backspace to fill the black color into the word SAVING-

-click Ctrl D to deselect-
-at the Layers palette, drag down the Layer 2 and put it between Layer 1 and Background-
-turn off the visibility of all the Layer except Layer 2 and Background-
-turn on the visibility of Layer 1 and press Alt and put the cursor between Layer 1 and Layer 2-
-click the cursor and the money will be cut and fit in the word SAVING-

-just continue the step one by one-
-the result of this tutorial will appear like below-
